1. Customer Service

  Our center has business setup principle and operation goal based on "Enhance domestic IC chip system design technology and incubate IC chip system design implementation human resource" with service target on the college and university of this country and the academy. Some of the important results are as in the following:
(1) Chip and system design environment service, (2) Chip prototype preparation and measurement service, (3) Educational training. All of our services are free except the training course but with only litter charge. Meanwhile, our service way and target are mainly based on open, fair and just principles, that is, the students and teachers in national or private colleges and universities are treated as equal and can get the services.

  In chip and system design environment aspect, the service provided by our center includes the setup of chip system design research environment and the assistance provided to academy for setting up chip system design research environment, all the teachers and students can apply for all software according to the regulation, and our center will issue appropriate quantity of software utilization right by taking account number of people utilizing it, quantity of computers and teaching and research demand, etc.; until now, we are proud that we can meet the satisfaction of most of the schools.

  In chip prototype preparation and measurement service aspect, our center can provide the application of chip production and processing service and chip test service. Teachers and students can submit the application and then experts and scholars will review and decide if the production and processing request is feasible. Meanwhile, the application for utilization of the test equipment is through internet reservation way, but most of the equipments must be trained and qualified before an application for utilization can be submitted.

  In educational training aspect, students have to use internet to register, and the fee is about 700 NT dollars for each course; our purpose is in an attempt to provide the curriculum to students who really need it and to avoid the situation that some students might be unable to register because of full registration. Our center has very good service performance because all the teachers and students in the schools are very satisfied by the services we provide.

2. Satisfactory Survey

  Satisfaction survey this year is through the sending of email to members who use the service provided by our center, and survey questionnaire filling is through internet; the web page will be opened from 96/11/13 to 96/11/28, hereafter we select six survey results among them and describe them respectively as in the followings:


(1) Satisfaction to the total service provided by CIC: Very satisfied and satisfied occupies a percentage of
  96.18%, which is higher than that of last year and exceeds our goal of 95%.

(2) Satisfaction to CIC administrative satisfaction: Very satisfied and satisfied occupies a percentage of
  93.07% which is higher than that of last year and exceeds the original goal of 90%.

(3) Satisfaction to the service of chip implementation business: Very satisfied and satisfied occupies a
  percentage of 86.57%, which shows an increase of 3.77% than last year, and the original goal is 73%.

(4) Satisfaction on design environment and technical service: Very satisfied and satisfied occupies a
  percentage of 84.24% with the original goal of 80%.

(5) Satisfaction on educational training and technical promotion is about 87.4%, which is higher than the
  original goal of 80%.

(6) Satisfaction on southern office: The satisfaction is 81.39% with original goal of 73%.
